dumfries_and_galloway

Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary recently chose the RadVantage Primera Pro Xi from A. Somerville Ltd., to be installed in their X-Ray Department. The 100 disc capacity Primera Pro Xi has been re-designed and re-engineered to make it about 300% faster using Primera’s AccuDisc picking technology. The built in, high resolution inkjet printing with up to 4800dpi quality, it has the highest printing resolution available from any manufacturer of disc publishers – in fact, almost four times higher resolution than a leading competitor. Integration to PACS and other modalities is easy with a simple yet comprehensive PTBurn SDK Kit.
The Primera Pro Xi creates a unique patient encrypted password for each patient which is printed on a separate label and then can be sent by fax, email or post from the CD/DVD, increasing the security of the burned images. The unique password is to AES 128, 192 & 256 as per IHE and Connecting for Health DICOM encryption requirements and also complies with DSCN.
