
Spire Roding is now the 8th Spire Hospital in the Spire Group to choose RadVantage Primera SE medical disc publisher, with the unique RadVantage patient encryption for each patient as required by NHS connecting for Health. The RadVantage Primera also complies with DSCN and is very competitively priced and is only available from A. Somerville Ltd.

The RadVantage Primera SE creates a unique patient encrypted password for each patient to AES 128, 192 & 256 as per IHE and Connecting for Health, DICOM encryption requirements and also complies with DSCN.
Connected to the Medical server of the SE is a label printer that prints the Unique Patient Password for each patient on a label which can then be sent by Fax, Email or by post, separately from the CD/DVD increasing the security of the burned images. Where most competitors use the patient ID and or name as the password.
David commented that this was one of the reasons the RadVantage Primera SE was chosen, also that there was no extra cost for the encryption solution and that the SE was very competitively priced.

The RadVantage Primera also complies with DSCN and was supplied and installed by A. Somerville Limited, who have exclusive rights to the unique patient encryption.
